CALGARY: - April 6-7, 1999 This two-day seminar precedes the "Pipeline Environmental Inspection" course and is intended for personnel involved in the planning phase of pipeline development projects. The seminar covers up-to-date methods for route selection and environmental protection planning for soils, wildlife, fisheries, archaeology, vegetation and water resources. Participants get a solid understanding of the planning process including public consultation, as well as the government's role, requirements and expectations.
